Ce concert se veut le pendant sacr\u00e9 de la \u00ab\u00a0f\u00eate profane\u00a0\u00bb du samedi pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent, \u00e0 l\u2019Amphith\u00e9\u00e2tre\u00a0: une immersion dans la musique religieuse du grand ma\u00eetre du baroque fran\u00e7ais, moment de gr\u00e2ce entre ferveur et recueillement. Entre autres merveilles, le public pourra red\u00e9couvrir la majest\u00e9 du\u00a0<em>Magnificat<\/em>\u00a0H. 77, la bouleversante s\u00e9r\u00e9nit\u00e9 des\u00a0<em>Litanies \u00e0 la\u00a0Vierge<\/em>, ou encore la virtuosit\u00e9 d\u2019\u00e9criture des\u00a0<em>Nuptiae sacrae<\/em>\u00a0\u2013 ce dialogue nuptial \u00e9voquant\u00a0la relation du Christ \u00e0 son \u00e9glise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Of all the composers of the&nbsp;<em>grand si\u00e8cle&nbsp;<\/em>to whom William Christie and Les Arts Florissants have tirelessly devoted themselves for over 40 years, Marc-Antoine Charpentier is perhaps the most emblematic. This concert is the sacred counterpart to the secular \u201cfeast\u201d of the previous Saturday at the Amphith\u00e9\u00e2tre: an immersion in the religious music of a great master of the French Baroque, a moment of grace between fervour and contemplation.
