Initi\u00e9 par ces piliers de la tradition Gnaouie que furent son p\u00e8re Boubker et son fr\u00e8re Mahmoud, le jeune Moktar s \u2018est produit dans le monde entier avec la famille Gania, mais ensuite aussi avec Randy Weston, Bill Laswell, Pharoah Sanders, Carlos Santana et bien d\u2019autres \u2026 <\/p>\n\n\n\n
La rencontre entre le Ma\u00e2lem Moktar Gania (fr\u00e8re cadet de l\u2019incontournable et regrett\u00e9 ma\u00eetre Mahmoud Gania) et le groupe Gnawa Soul a permis de cr\u00e9er \u00e0 Essaouira un style novateur \u00e0 la fronti\u00e8re de l\u2019esprit Gnawa, des grandes m\u00e9lodies orientales du Maghreb et des vibrations de la culture Ouest Africaine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Moktar Gania et Gnawa Soul apparaissent comme les nouveaux ambassadeurs d\u2019une musique reliant le Maghreb et l\u2019Afrique de l\u2019Ouest c\u00e9l\u00e9brant les noces du corps et de l\u2019esprit qui d\u00e9livrent l\u2019\u00e2me, que ce soient \u00e0 travers des balades d\u00e9di\u00e9es \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9l\u00e9mentaire cosmique ou des titres rythmiques issus de la transe spirituelle.
Leur album GNAWA SOUL est sorti en mai 2022 sous l\u2019\u00e9tiquette Disques Nuits d\u2019Afrique, en collaboration avec Nomad Roots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
