Laur\u00e9at du Grand Prix de Jazz au 26e \u00e9dition du Festival International de Jazz de Montr\u00e9al, il compte plusieurs albums \u00e0 son actif : Floating, Caminando, Quintet et Quartet “Live”<\/em> et de nombreuses participations d’enregistrements avec d’autres artistes. Tenace et d\u00e9vou\u00e9 au jazz, il jouit de toute une r\u00e9putation \u00e0 la t\u00eate de son jam session hebdomadaire qui attire de nombreux artistes d’ici et d’ailleurs en qu\u00eate d’\u00e9tincelles..<\/p>\n\n\n\n Alex Bellegarde Trio plays host to a range of well known talents from the Montreal scene as well as musicians from out of town. The jam opens in the second set and continues on into the early hours<\/p>\n\n\n\n Energetic player, composer and Grand Jazz Award winner at the Montreal Jazz Festival, 26th ed<\/em>, Alex Bellegarde creates music drawn from a wealth of sources. He heads a number of formations and participates in a range of projects: jazz, Latin music and multidisciplinary (theatre, film, poetry and dance to multimedia). With several albums to his credit: Floating, Caminando, Quintet and Quartet “Live <\/em>, he is also guest contributor to a wide array of artists’ recordings and performs regularly throughout Canada and internationally (Europe, Mexico, U.S).
