Josephine, pianiste et violoniste de formation classique, \u00e9tait sur le point d’entamer une carri\u00e8re en droit lorsqu’elle a rencontr\u00e9 Anthony, producteur et ancien membre d’un groupe de rock, dans un studio du sud de Londres. Il lui a propos\u00e9 de produire certaines de ses chansons, mais d\u00e8s qu’ils ont commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 travailler ensemble, il y a eu un d\u00e9clic. Ou, comme le dit Anthony, “les \u00e9toiles sont entr\u00e9es en collision”.
Son exp\u00e9rience en mati\u00e8re d’arrangement et de production – le l\u00e9gendaire Gil Norton lui avait conseill\u00e9 de devenir producteur – compl\u00e8te sa formation classique et ses talents de compositeur. Leurs voix \u00e0 l’unisson sont envo\u00fbtantes. Ils sont plus dou\u00e9s pour \u00e9crire des textes ensemble qu’ils ne l’\u00e9taient s\u00e9par\u00e9ment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Classically-trained pianist and violinist Josephine was about to begin a career in law when she met Anthony, a producer and former member of a rock band, in a south London studio. He offered to produce some of her songs, but the moment they started working together, something clicked. Or as Anthony recalls it, \u201cstars collided\u201d.
His background in arranging and production \u2013 no less than the legendary Gil Norton had advised him to become a producer \u2013 complimented her classical training and songwriting skills. Their voices in unison were spellbinding. They were better at writing lyrics together than they had been apart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
