This series of concerts values the collective approach to creation. A composition of all the instrumentalists that takes shape in a framework of improvisation in real time and where textures, shapes and moving sound materials are developed. For the year 2026-2027, there are three proposals of Jeudi sonore inviting six improvisers from the Ensemble SuperMusique and Chorale Joker. Each concert brings together a group of instrumentalists who represent a different color and approach to improvised music. These artists play without a score, improvising in total freedom or only with some instructions discussed before the performance. On occasion, we are waiting for some international artists to come to Montreal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
