Lou-Adriane Cassidy n\u2019est plus un nom que l\u2019on se doit de pr\u00e9senter. Plus r\u00e9cente laur\u00e9ate de 12 F\u00e9lix au Gala de l\u2019ADISQ 2025, du prix F\u00e9lix-Leclerc, r\u00e9cipiendaire du F\u00e9lix du Spectacle de l\u2019ann\u00e9e r\u00e9interpr\u00e9tation au Gala de l\u2019ADISQ 2024 et du Lucien de l\u2019artiste de l\u2019ann\u00e9e au GAMIQ 2022, laur\u00e9ate du prix Slaight Music 2022 et du prix Coup de Coeur de l\u2019Acad\u00e9mie Charles-Cros en 2020, Lou-Adriane Cassidy est d\u00e9sormais une des meneuses de la nouvelle sc\u00e8ne qu\u00e9b\u00e9coise. N\u2019en t\u00e9moigne que sa participation \u00e0 la triomphale s\u00e9rie de concerts Le Roy, la Rose et le Lou[p] et dont les critiques \u00e9logieuses laissent entendre qu\u2019elle est une de celles d\u00e9tenant l\u2019avenir de notre chanson entre ses mains. Elle a d\u00e9j\u00e0 marqu\u00e9 l\u2019ann\u00e9e 2025 de mani\u00e8re ind\u00e9l\u00e9bile en alignant coup sur coup les apoth\u00e9oses de son Journal d\u2019un Loup-garou, le disque et le spectacle. D\u2019aucuns parlent d\u00e9j\u00e0 de l\u2019album comme d\u2019un nouveau classique de la chanson qu\u00e9b\u00e9coise et en ont soulign\u00e9 la profondeur des textes, des arrangements ainsi que la sublime qualit\u00e9 de son interpr\u00e9tation; le spectacle a pour sa part obtenu une r\u00e9ception dithyrambique de la part du public et des m\u00e9dias qui parl\u00e8rent de triomphe, de cons\u00e9cration, d\u2019entr\u00e9e dans la cour des grands. Son quatri\u00e8me album, Triste Animal, paru en surprise le 6 mai 2025, nous d\u00e9montre que Lou-Adriane est une cr\u00e9atrice inclassable et infatigable. Dans des arrangements d\u00e9pouill\u00e9s, contrastant avec le maximalisme de l\u2019album pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent, Triste Animal nous donne un acc\u00e8s in\u00e9dit \u00e0 Lou-Adriane et \u00e0 sa voix, qui ici, peut prendre toute la place qui lui revient. Alliant folk, west-coast country orchestral, pop chic londonienne, soul, samba, grunge acoustique et jazz, Triste Animal est l\u2019album le plus \u00e9clectique que l\u2019artiste nous offre jusqu\u2019\u00e0 maintenant et, peut-\u00eatre, son plus ma\u00eetris\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lou-Adriane Cassidy is no longer a name we should introduce ourselves. Most recent recipient of 12 F\u00e9lix awards at the 2025 ADISQ Gala, the F\u00e9lix-Leclerc Prize, recipient of the F\u00e9lix for Performance of the Year reinterpretation at the 2024 ADISQ Gala and the Lucien for Artist of the Year award at the 2022 GAMIQ, winner of the 2022 Slaight Music Award and the 2020 Coup de Coeur Prize from the Acad\u00e9mie Charles-Cros, Lou-Adriane Cassidy is now one of the leaders of the new Quebec scene. Testifies only to her participation in the triumphant concert series Le Roy, la Rose and le Lou[p] and whose rave reviews suggest that she is one of those holding the future of our song in her hands. She has already indelibly marked the year 2025 by aligning, one after another, the apotheoses of her Journal d’un Loup-garou, the disc and the show. Some already speak of the album as a new classic of Quebec song and have highlighted the depth of the lyrics, arrangements and the sublime quality of its interpretation; the show, for its part, has received a rave reception from the public and the media who spoke of triumph, consecration, entry into the big league. Her fourth album, Triste Animal, released as a surprise on May 6, 2025, shows us that Lou-Adriane is an unstoppable and tireless creator. In stripped-down arrangements, contrasting with the maximalism of the previous album, Triste Animal gives us an unprecedented access to Lou-Adriane and her voice, which here can take all the place that belongs to her. Lou-Adriane shows us once again, and perhaps in the most obvious way to this day, that she is an interpreter as few meet in one\u2019s life. Grand Eug\u00e8ne (21h)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le duo qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois Grand Eug\u00e8ne, compos\u00e9 de Melyssa Lemieux et Jeremy Lachance, chemine autant dans l\u2019urgence de cr\u00e9er que dans le creux des souvenirs qu\u2019on peine \u00e0 raconter. Apr\u00e8s deux microalbums que le groupe a port\u00e9s sur les routes du Qu\u00e9bec et de la France, Grand Eug\u00e8ne pr\u00e9sente son premier album, Deux places au cimeti\u00e8re. T\u00e9moignant d\u2019un esprit indie rock agile, qui se meut ais\u00e9ment au gr\u00e9 des humeurs, l\u2019album est le produit d\u2019un \u00e9lan cr\u00e9atif inarr\u00eatable : des maquettes enregistr\u00e9es entre Saint-Hugues, Montr\u00e9al, Paris et l\u2019ancienne van de Jeremy, parfois sur un coin de table, avec rien de plus qu\u2019un micro d\u2019ordinateur et un haut-parleur. Comme une fleur sur une pierre tombale, leur musique pousse partout, cajole les c\u0153urs bris\u00e9s et donne un air vivace aux choses les plus \u00e9ph\u00e9m\u00e8res.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Quebec duo Grand Eug\u00e8ne, composed of Melyssa Lemieux and Jeremy Lachance, walks as much in the urgency to create as in the hollow of memories that we struggle to tell. After two micro-albums that the group has taken on the roads of Quebec and France, Grand Eug\u00e8ne presents its first album, Deux places au cimeti\u00e8re. Reflecting an agile indie rock spirit, which moves easily according to the moods, the album is the product of an unstoppable creative momentum: models recorded between Saint-Hugues, Montreal, Paris and Jeremy\u2019s old van, sometimes on a table corner, with nothing more than a computer microphone and a speaker. Like a flower on a tombstone, their music grows everywhere, coddles broken hearts and gives a lively air to the most ephemeral things.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

N NAO, nomm\u00e9e Naomie de Lorimier, est une artiste n\u00e9e et bas\u00e9e \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al. Elle explore la romance exp\u00e9rimentale par la musique, la performance et la vid\u00e9o depuis des millions d’ann\u00e9es. Ses compositions s’inscrivent dans une d\u00e9marche \u00e9cof\u00e9ministe, inspir\u00e9e de r\u00eaves et de rituels. N NAO, named Naomie de Lorimier, is an artist born and based in Montreal. She has been exploring experimental romance through music, performance and video for millions of years. Her compositions are part of an ecofeminist approach, inspired by dreams and rituals. She carved out a place on the Long List of the Polaris Music Prize in 2023 and 2025, with her albums L’eau et les r\u00eaves (March 24, 2023 via Mothland) and Nouveau Langage (January 31, 2025 via Mothland), the latter cited as one of her best albums of 2025 by Le Devoir, which adds: \u00abNouveau Langage evokes the idea of the future, among other things by its use of Auto-Tune and electro from different genres, ranging from EDM to drum and bass. [N NAO] reminds me of a Bj\u00f6rk or a Laurie Anderson, at times.\u201d In addition to collaborating with, among others, Lou-Adriane Cassidy (notably participating in the famous Journal d’un loup-garou), Rau_Ze, Marie-Pierre Arthur, Kl\u00f4 Pelgag, Laurence-Anne, Joni Void, Crabe, Zouz, Jonathan Personne, Lumi\u00e8re, and Bon Enfant, she opened for several artists including Sarah Pag\u00e9, Jessica Moss, Ariane Moffatt, Patrick Watson and Water From Your Eyes, and played in the last years at Pop Montreal, Paris, Berlin, Sled Island in Calgary and SXSW in Texas. Hawa B (19h)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nadia Hawa Bald\u00e9 HAWA B est une auteure-compositrice-interpr\u00e8te qui \u00e9chappe aux \u00e9tiquettes. Sa musique est un espace libre invitant \u00e0 la r\u00e9flexion : certains l\u2019entendront rock, d\u2019autres R\u2019n\u2019B, jazz ou \u00e9lectro\u2026un m\u00e9lange audacieux, ex\u00e9cut\u00e9 avec soin, qui m\u00e8ne \u00e0 une proposition unique et percutante. Elle cr\u00e9e un espace o\u00f9 l\u2019on peut twerker en pleine session de head bang, rire et pleurer dans un m\u00eame souffle. Son art cherche \u00e0 red\u00e9finir l\u2019id\u00e9e de perfection en c\u00e9l\u00e9brant les diff\u00e9rences, en revendiquant les failles, sans honte ni filtre. HAWA B fa\u00e7onne un univers o\u00f9 la diversit\u00e9 devient une source de richesse et d\u2019apprentissage.
