Immigrant du P\u00e9rou en tant que r\u00e9fugi\u00e9 et ayant grandi dans la sc\u00e8ne hip-hop et dansante de Montr\u00e9al, MARISOL <\/strong>a pris le temps d\u2019\u00e9tudier ses idoles locaux et internationaux avant de s\u2019emparer d\u2019un clavier MIDI pour la premi\u00e8re fois en 2017. Autodidacte, il a appris \u00e0 produire et \u00e9crire ses propres chansons, d\u00e9veloppant une voix artistique unique. Sa musique est une fusion vibrante de percussions latines, d\u2019\u00e9chantillons de jazz des ann\u00e9es 70, de sonorit\u00e9s hip-hop et de m\u00e9lodies chant\u00e9es en plusieurs langues. Cette richesse culturelle s\u2019exprime \u00e0 travers des grooves dansants et des atmosph\u00e8res chaleureuses qui transcendent les genres. Il fait ses premiers pas sur la sc\u00e8ne musicale sous le pseudonyme Guapo, avec le groupe de rap CLOUD N9NE. Depuis leur pause \u00e0 la mi-2022, MARISOL a embrass\u00e9 pleinement sa d\u00e9marche solo, explorant les styles musicaux qui l\u2019ont fa\u00e7onn\u00e9, du R&B au reggaeton, en passant par l\u2019afrobeats et la musique \u00e9lectronique. Artiste multidisciplinaire, il d\u00e9veloppe aujourd\u2019hui un univers personnel \u00e0 la fois intime, \u00e9clectique et profond\u00e9ment enracin\u00e9 dans ses origines.
N\u00e9 \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al, le Tambor\u00e9al Samba Bloco<\/strong> est un collectif de percussions qui c\u00e9l\u00e8bre les rythmes afro-br\u00e9siliens et la diversit\u00e9 culturelle de la ville. Form\u00e9 de musiciens d\u2019origines vari\u00e9es, le groupe transforme le son en un espace de rencontre et de c\u00e9l\u00e9bration, alliant tradition, cr\u00e9ation et \u00e9nergie contagieuse. Inspir\u00e9 par les battements du samba, maracatu, ijex\u00e1 et d\u2019autres rythmes afro-br\u00e9siliens, Tambor\u00e9al cr\u00e9e une signature sonore unique, une fusion entre la chaleur du Br\u00e9sil et le pouls urbain du Qu\u00e9bec. Le projet va au-del\u00e0 de la musique : c\u2019est une affirmation de communaut\u00e9, d\u2019appartenance et de joie collective. Le groupe s\u2019est produit sur plusieurs grandes sc\u00e8nes et \u00e9v\u00e9nements culturels de Montr\u00e9al et du Qu\u00e9bec, notamment au Festival Nuits d\u2019Afrique devant plus de 5 000 personnes, au Festival Islande F\u00eate, ainsi qu\u2019au Festival de la Bi\u00e8re de Montr\u00e9al. En 2025, Tambor\u00e9al a \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 demi-finaliste du concours Sily d\u2019Or, soulignant son originalit\u00e9 et sa pr\u00e9sence marquante sur la sc\u00e8ne musicale montr\u00e9alaise. Plus qu\u2019un groupe musical, le Tambor\u00e9al Samba Bloco est un mouvement culturel qui fait du rythme un geste d\u2019union entre le Nord et le Sud, entre le pass\u00e9 et le pr\u00e9sent, entre toutes les personnes qui trouvent dans la percussion un m\u00eame c\u0153ur qui bat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Peruvian immigrant who arrived in Canada as a refugee and grew up within Montreal\u2019s hip-hop and dance scenes, MARISOL <\/strong>took the time to study his local and international idols before touching a MIDI keyboard for the first time in 2017. Self-taught, he learned to produce and write his own songs, developing a distinctive artistic voice. His music is a vibrant fusion of Latin percussion, 1970s jazz samples, hip-hop textures, and melodies sung in multiple languages. This cultural richness shines through in his danceable grooves and warm atmospheres that transcend genres. He first made his mark on the local scene under the stage name Guapo, as part of the rap group CLOUD N9NE. Since the group\u2019s hiatus in mid-2022, MARISOL has fully embraced his solo path, exploring the musical styles that shaped him \u2014 from R&B and reggaeton to afrobeats and electronic music. A multidisciplinary artist, he is now crafting a deeply personal universe that is at once intimate, eclectic, and firmly rooted in his origins.
Born in Montreal, Tambor\u00e9al Samba Bloco<\/strong> is a percussion collective that celebrates Afro-Brazilian rhythms and the city\u2019s cultural diversity. Composed of musicians from diverse backgrounds, the group transforms sound into a space for connection and celebration, blending tradition, creativity, and contagious energy. Inspired by the beats of samba, maracatu, ijex\u00e1, and other Afro-Brazilian rhythms, Tambor\u00e9al has forged a unique sonic identity \u2014 a fusion of Brazilian warmth and Quebec\u2019s urban pulse. But the project extends beyond music: it is an affirmation of community, belonging, and collective joy. The group has performed on major stages and at cultural events across Montreal and Quebec, including the Festival Nuits d\u2019Afrique (before an audience of over 5,000), the Islande F\u00eate Festival, and the Montreal Beer Festival. In 2025, Tambor\u00e9al was also a semi-finalist in the Syli d\u2019Or competition, highlighting its originality and strong presence on Montreal\u2019s music scene. More than a musical group, Tambor\u00e9al Samba Bloco is a cultural movement that turns rhythm into a gesture of unity \u2014 between North and South, past and present, and all those whose hearts beat together through percussion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
