Les moyens technologiques modestes sont compens\u00e9s par l\u2019originalit\u00e9 et la vari\u00e9t\u00e9 de styles provenant d\u2019auteurs, compositeurs et interpr\u00e8tes exceptionnels. Les chansons cr\u00e9\u00e9es durant ces ann\u00e9es, jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la dissolution du pays en 1992, sont encore tr\u00e8s \u00e9cout\u00e9es aujourd\u2019hui \u00e0 travers les anciennes r\u00e9publiques, ainsi que la diaspora. Le spectacle The Great ex-Yu Songbook ouvre la fen\u00eatre sur l\u2019h\u00e9ritage musical d\u2019un lieu et d\u2019une \u00e9poque avec une s\u00e9lection de classiques r\u00e9arrang\u00e9s et interpr\u00e9t\u00e9s par le jeune artiste originaire de Bosnie-Herz\u00e9govine Arslan Trtak. N\u00e9 \u00e0 Qu\u00e9bec, Arslan a \u00e9tudi\u00e9 pendant sept ans au Conservatoire de musique de Qu\u00e9bec en guitare classique et a obtenu un DEC Technique au CNDF en guitare jazz\/pop. Il est pr\u00e9sentement en deuxi\u00e8me ann\u00e9e de baccalaur\u00e9at \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 Laval en Interpr\u00e9tation Jazz. Ses influences sont vari\u00e9es, allant de musique pop, folk ou traditionnelle de Bosnie-Herz\u00e9govine et des Balkans au blues, rock classique et jazz de l\u2019Occident. Tout ce bagage musical contribue au d\u00e9veloppement d\u2019un profil artistique qui lui est propre et unique en son genre. Fort de son exp\u00e9rience de tourn\u00e9e internationale avec la chanteuse Amira Medunjanin, il a pris le go\u00fbt de la sc\u00e8ne et d\u00e9sire partager sa vision de la musique avec le public. L\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement, qui prendra place dans l\u2019ambiance feutr\u00e9e de la Salle d\u2019Youville, repr\u00e9sente une occasion parfaite pour d\u00e9couvrir cet artiste \u00e9mergent. La soir\u00e9e sera \u00e9galement agr\u00e9ment\u00e9e par la pr\u00e9sence de quelques invit\u00e9s. Son p\u00e8re, Kemal, assurera l\u2019accompagnement \u00e0 la guitare et chantera certaines chansons, alors que ses fr\u00e8res Harun et Jasen prendront en charge la section rythmique pour quelques num\u00e9ros. Ensemble, les trois fr\u00e8res forment le groupe The Wrenne Brothers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the mid-1960s, Yugoslavia stood at the dawn of a cultural and artistic boom. While initially following Western trends, it quickly developed a distinct cultural identity thanks to a new generation of creative geniuses who produced a repertoire rivaling the greatest American and British hits. Limited technological resources were offset by originality and a wide range of styles crafted by exceptional songwriters, composers, and performers. The songs created during this period, up until the country\u2019s dissolution in 1992, are still widely listened to today throughout the former republics as well as within the diaspora. The Great ex-Yu Songbook opens a window onto the musical heritage of a place and an era, through a selection of classic songs reimagined and performed by young Bosnian-born artist Arslan Trtak. Born in Quebec City, Arslan studied classical guitar for seven years at the Conservatoire de musique de Qu\u00e9bec and earned a DEC Technique at CNDF in jazz\/pop guitar. He is currently in his second year of a bachelor\u2019s degree in Jazz Performance at Universit\u00e9 Laval. His influences are wide-ranging, spanning pop, folk, and traditional music from Bosnia-Herzegovina and the Balkans, as well as Western blues, classic rock, and jazz. This rich musical background has helped shape a distinctive and truly unique artistic voice. Having gained international touring experience with singer Amira Medunjanin, Arslan developed a passion for the stage and now seeks to share his musical vision with audiences. This event, taking place in the intimate atmosphere of Salle d\u2019Youville, offers a perfect opportunity to discover this emerging artist. The evening will also feature special guests. His father, Kemal, will accompany him on guitar and sing select songs, while his brothers Harun and Jasen will handle the rhythm section for several numbers.
