Un jour, sans le savoir, Matt Moln d\u00e9couvre l\u2019\u00e9criture et l\u2019organisation des sons (la musique) comme voie d\u2019expression l\u00e9gitime. La cr\u00e9ation d’une musique propre \u00e0 sa vie int\u00e9rieure deviendra d\u00e8s lors le sens de son existence.
Il prend son envole concr\u00e8tement en 2019, en remportant cette ann\u00e9e-l\u00e0 le concours Trois-Pistoles en Chanson dans le volet Auteur-Compositeur-Interpr\u00e8te. Durant l\u2019hiver 2021, Matt Moln participe \u00e0 la t\u00e9l\u00e9-r\u00e9alit\u00e9 Star Acad\u00e9mie, o\u00f9 en quelques semaines il r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 imposer son identit\u00e9 artistique radicale. Son passage remarqu\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019Acad\u00e9mie aboutie \u00e0 la pr\u00e9sentation de sa chanson De l\u2019or, compos\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019occasion d\u2019une mise en danger (ce qui marque une premi\u00e8re dans l\u2019histoire de l\u2019\u00e9mission). Sa chanson De l\u2019or se retrouve d\u00e8s lors sur l\u2019album \u00e9ponyme Star Acad\u00e9mie 2021.
En f\u00e9vrier 2025, Matt Moln d\u00e9voile son premier album solo, \u00ab Saint-Ours \u00bb. L\u2019album s\u2019imagine comme une exp\u00e9rience mystique o\u00f9 la rencontre avec une b\u00eate (clin d\u2019\u0153il \u00e0 La b\u00eate lumineuse de Pierre Perrault) d\u00e9clenche une r\u00e9flexion profonde sur la transmission, l\u2019identit\u00e9 et les liens invisibles qui unissent les g\u00e9n\u00e9rations. On y retrouve l\u2019introspection caract\u00e9ristique de Matt Moln, m\u00eal\u00e9e \u00e0 des arrangements audacieux qui oscillent entre douceur planante et \u00e9clats d\u2019\u00e9nergie brute. D\u2019o\u00f9 cette tonalit\u00e9 particuli\u00e8re\u202f: continuellement\u202ftragique,\u202fmais toujours teint\u00e9e d\u2019une l\u00e9g\u00e8re ironie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One day, without realizing it, Matt Moln discovered writing and the organization of sounds (music) as a legitimate form of expression. Creating music that reflects his inner life would from then on become the meaning of his existence.
He took off in 2019, winning that year the Trois-Pistoles en Chanson competition in the Singer-Songwriter category. In the winter of 2021, Matt Moln participated in the reality show Star Acad\u00e9mie, where in just a few weeks he managed to assert his radical artistic identity. His notable appearance on the show led to the presentation of his song De l\u2019or, composed as part of a risk-taking challenge, a first in the show\u2019s history. The song De l\u2019or was subsequently included on the eponymous album Star Acad\u00e9mie 2021.
In February 2025, Matt Moln released his first solo album, Saint-Ours. The album is conceived as a mystical experience, where an encounter with a beast (a nod to Pierre Perrault\u2019s La b\u00eate lumineuse) sparks a profound reflection on heritage, identity, and the invisible bonds that connect generations. It features Matt Moln\u2019s characteristic introspection, combined with bold arrangements that shift between soaring softness and bursts of raw energy. The result is a distinct tone: perpetually tragic, yet always tinged with subtle irony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

21:40 – Sara et Rebecca<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sara et Rebecca n\u2019ont pas peur de bousculer les codes avec leur projet instrumental audacieux. Le duo de guitaristes de Qu\u00e9bec propose un univers exp\u00e9rimental unique, o\u00f9 solos enflamm\u00e9s et p\u00e9dales d’effets se m\u00ealent harmonieusement aux influences latines et psych\u00e9d\u00e9liques. Leur douzaine d\u2019ann\u00e9es de pratique en symbiose se manifeste sur sc\u00e8ne par une complicit\u00e9 magn\u00e9tique. En formule compl\u00e8te, l\u2019\u00e9nergie collective du groupe promet de faire vibrer le public. Sara et Rebecca ont sorti et lanc\u00e9 leur premier EP, D\u00e9dicace f\u00e9line, en 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sara and Rebecca are unafraid to challenge conventions with their bold instrumental project. The guitar duo from Quebec offers a unique experimental universe, where fiery solos and effects pedals blend seamlessly with Latin and psychedelic influences. Their twelve years of playing in perfect sync are evident on stage through a magnetic chemistry. As a full ensemble, the group\u2019s collective energy promises to captivate the audience. Sara and Rebecca released and launched their first EP, D\u00e9dicace f\u00e9line, in 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
