Songs of the Drowning est une performance interdisciplinaire r\u00e9alis\u00e9e par Roozbeh Tabandeh, inspir\u00e9e par les po\u00e8mes de Sandeep Bhagwati et les peintures de Khosro Berahmandi. La po\u00e9sie de Bhagwati a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e0 la fois une inspiration et une source d’id\u00e9es dans le processus de composition musicale. Ainsi, l’\u0153uvre finale fusionne ces quatre langues avec la musique de Roozbeh Tabandeh, des \u0153uvres vid\u00e9o de Hadi Jamali inspir\u00e9es par les toiles de Khosro Berahmandi ainsi qu’une sc\u00e9nographie cr\u00e9\u00e9e par la sc\u00e9nographe et architecte Haleh Vedadi et Roozbeh Tabandeh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Songs of the Drowning is an interdisciplinary performance created by Roozbeh Tabandeh, inspired by the poems of Sandeep Bhagwati and the paintings of Khosro Berahmandi. Bhagwati\u2019s poetry served both as inspiration and as a source of ideas throughout the musical composition process. The poetry cycle offers a critical reflection on the human condition in our time. These nine short poems, originally written in German, will be presented in four languages during the performance, including English, French, and Farsi. The final work thus weaves together these four languages with Roozbeh Tabandeh\u2019s music, video works by Hadi Jamali inspired by Khosro Berahmandi\u2019s paintings, and a scenography created by set designer and architect Haleh Vedadi in collaboration with Roozbeh Tabandeh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
