One Leg One Eye<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

En tant que membre fondateur du groupe folk exp\u00e9rimental Lankum, bas\u00e9 \u00e0 Dublin, Ian Lynch explore les courants sous-jacents de la musique et du chant. Il trace une voie musicale \u00e0 la fois sombre, myst\u00e9rieuse et inqui\u00e9tante, mais finalement transcendantale. Son nouveau projet solo, One Leg One Eye, le voit adopter une approche novatrice de l\u2019arrangement musical, aboutissant \u00e0 un son plus ancr\u00e9 dans l\u2019esth\u00e9tique brute du black metal de deuxi\u00e8me vague que dans le folk contemporain.
Le projet a vu le jour en 2021, une p\u00e9riode durant laquelle Lynch a pu profiter de la libert\u00e9 d\u2019exp\u00e9rimenter et d\u2019explorer diff\u00e9rentes voies de conception sonore sans attentes ni pression. \u00c0 la recherche de cadres int\u00e9ressants pour enregistrer de la musique et recueillir des enregistrements sur le terrain, plusieurs environnements, ext\u00e9rieurs et int\u00e9rieurs, ont impr\u00e9gn\u00e9 l\u2019esprit de la musique et en sont venus \u00e0 repr\u00e9senter l\u2019approche artistique et l\u2019\u00e9volution de Lynch avec ce premier album singulier, \u2026And Take The Black Worm With Me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a founding member of Dublin experimental folk group Lankum, Ian Lynch explores submerged leylines of music and song. Forging a musical path that is all at once dark, mysterious and foreboding, but ultimately transcendental. His new solo project One Leg One Eye sees him taking a fresh approach to musical arrangement culminating in a sound that is more rooted in the raw aesthetics of second wave black metal than contemporary folk.
The project was born across 2021, a period in which Lynch was able to enjoy the freedom of experimenting and explorating different paths of sound design without expectation or pressure. Seeking out interesting settings to record music and gather field recordings, there are several environments, external and interior, whose respective essence have seeped into the spirit of the music and come to represent Lynch\u2019s artistic approach and development with this singular debut album, \u2026And Take The Black Worm With Me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
