Bye Parula est ce genre de trio qui semble avoir jailli d\u2019un vieux magn\u00e9toscope, quelque part entre une bobine poussi\u00e9reuse de cin\u00e9ma 70\u2019s et un r\u00eave pop ind\u00e9 d\u2019aujourd\u2019hui. Form\u00e9 \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al en 2020, le groupe r\u00e9unit trois personnalit\u00e9s bien distinctes mais li\u00e9es par une m\u00eame vision : Sergio d\u2019Isanto (baterie, chant), Sebast\u00e1n Riquelme (guitare, chant) et Lo\u00efc Calatayud (chant, basse) se croisent pour fusionner leurs infuences en un \u00e9quilibre aussi fragile que fascinant. Avec une oreille tourn\u00e9e vers les bandes-son d\u2019une \u00e9poque r\u00e9volue et l\u2019autre plong\u00e9e dans les efluves de la pop contemporaine, Bye Parula compose un r\u00e9pertoire o\u00f9 les arrangements cisel\u00e9s s\u2019enroulent autour d\u2019une po\u00e9sie \u00e9pur\u00e9e. Bye Parula is the kind of trio that seems to have emerged from an old VCR, somewhere between a dusty reel of 70s cinema and today\u2019s indie pop dream. Formed in Montreal in 2020, the group brings together three distnct personalites bound by a shared vision: Sergio d\u2019Isanto (drums, vocals), Sebast\u00e1n Riquelme (guitar, vocals), and Lo\u00efc Calatayud (vocals, bass) converge to fuse their influences into a balance that\u2019s as fragile as it is fascinating. With one ear turned to the soundtracks of a bygone era and the other immersed in the currents of contemporary pop, Bye Parula crafs a repertoire where fnely honed arrangements weave around stripped-down poetry. Dilettante est la multi-instrumentiste Francesca Pidgeon, une artiste art-pop. Vivant dans le nord de l\u2019Angleterre, elle a jou\u00e9 au Royaume-Uni et \u00e0 l\u2019international. The Narcotix<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

L\u2019ensemble art-folk ouest-africain The Narcotix, bas\u00e9 \u00e0 Brooklyn, est n\u00e9 de l\u2019imagination d\u2019Esther Quansah et de Becky Foinchas, amies d\u2019enfance et compositrices exp\u00e9rimentales. Brooklyn-based, West African art-folk ensemble The Narcotix is the brainchild of childhood friends and experimental composers Esther Quansah and Becky Foinchas.
