TEKE::TEKE est un groupe psych-rock japonais bas\u00e9 \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al. Mettant en vedette des instruments japonais traditionnels, de la fl\u00fbte, du trombone, des guitares enrag\u00e9es et une section rythmique palpitante, TEKE::TEKE cr\u00e9e un son rappelant les bandes sonores japonaises psych\u00e9d\u00e9liques des ann\u00e9es 60 et 70, avec une touche fr\u00e9n\u00e9tique et moderne. Leurs albums Shirushi et Hagata, parus sous l\u2019\u00e9tiquette Kill Rock Stars sont disponibles pr\u00e9sentement. Le groupe vient tout juste de lancer l\u2019album Kage No Iro, la bande sonore officielle du dernier opus de la grande s\u00e9rie de jeux vid\u00e9os Assassin\u2019s Creed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TEKE::TEKE is a wild, cinematic Japanese psych-rock group based in Montreal. Featuring traditional Japanese instruments, flute and trombone alongside raging guitars and a pulsing rhythm section, TEKE::TEKE creates a sound reminiscent of 1960\u2019s and 70\u2019s era psychedelic Japanese soundtracks, with an experimental approach and a frenetic, modern twist. Their albums Shirushi and Hagata are out now via Kill Rock Stars. Holy Fuck, qui f\u00eate ses vingt ans, a commenc\u00e9 avec l\u2019ambition de faire de la musique d\u2019une mani\u00e8re qui lui \u00e9tait \u00e9trang\u00e8re, d\u2019accepter les limites, de s\u2019engager dans la joie du bruit et de l\u2019exp\u00e9rimentation. Le plan a fonctionn\u00e9. Rapidement, ils se sont retrouv\u00e9s \u00e0 accompagner des artistes hip hop, \u00e0 faire la premi\u00e8re partie de MIA, \u00e0 remixer Radiohead et \u00e0 s\u2019attirer les louanges d\u2019artistes comme Lou Reed, tout en s\u2019attirant les foudres de l\u2019ancien premier ministre conservateur Stephen Harper. Celebrating twenty years, Holy Fuck started with an ambition to make music in a way foreign even to themselves, to embrace limitations, commit to the joy of noise and experimentation. The plan worked. Soon they found themselves backing hip hop artists, opening for MIA, remixing Radiohead, and earning the praise of artists like Lou Reed while earning the ire of former conservative prime minister Stephen Harper. What once appeared unconventional, tables of gear, wires, random electronics has now become the norm. Maybe they\u2019re some kind of pioneers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
