En 2016, Moonshine devient aussi un label, soutenant les artistes gravitant autour du collectif. \u00c0 travers sa s\u00e9rie SMS for Location, le noyau cr\u00e9atif \u2013 incluant Pierre Kwenders (laur\u00e9at du prix Polaris 2022) \u2013 collabore avec une constellation d\u2019artistes internationaux comme Sango, Uniiqu3, Bambii ou Georgia Ann Muldrow. Moonshine, c\u2019est une communion musicale globale o\u00f9 la f\u00eate devient un acte de connexion et de lib\u00e9ration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Born in Montreal\u2019s Mile-End in 2014, Moonshine is a collective redefining the electronic music scene through secret, post-full-moon parties blending deep and afro house. Every Saturday after the full moon, hundreds gather in a hidden location\u2014revealed only by text message 48 hours prior\u2014for a night of ritual, dance, and immersive artistry curated by DJs, VJs, dancers, and musicians. In 2016, Moonshine evolved into a record label, supporting its global creative community. At the heart of it all is the SMS for Location series, featuring collective member Pierre Kwenders (Polaris Prize winner 2022) alongside collaborators like Sango, Georgia Ann Muldrow, Uniiqu3, and Bambii. The label\u2019s current roster includes standout acts like Vanyfox (batida innovator), Congolese amapiano pioneer DJ P2N, and \u00c8bony\u2014hailed by Boiler Room as a defining force in Toronto\u2019s club scene. Now signed to Warner Music (ADA), Moonshine is set to release SMS for Location Vol.6 on May 2, 2025, with an ongoing European tour showcasing groundbreaking collaborations with producers across the African continent and its diaspora.
