Leur musique, influenc\u00e9e par Dirty Projectors, Animal Collective et Feist, marie pr\u00e9cision artisanale et spontan\u00e9it\u00e9, dans un m\u00e9lange d\u2019\u00e9motions qui ne triche pas. Apr\u00e8s un passage remarqu\u00e9 aux Francouvertes 2021, ils lancent leur premier EP chaque chose, puis poursuivent leur exploration sonore sur ok bebye (2023), un premier album intense et \u00e9clat\u00e9, qui \u00e9voque aussi bien les amiti\u00e9s perdues que les \u00e9lans d\u2019euphorie. L\u2019album m\u00e8ne le groupe sur les sc\u00e8nes du Qu\u00e9bec : La Noce, Santa Teresa, FEQ, FRIMAT (en premi\u00e8re partie de Karkwa), Petite-Vall\u00e9e et bien d\u2019autres. En 2024, le single B\u00e9b\u00e9 et deux live sessions au Madame Wood poursuivent cette lanc\u00e9e, culminant avec un concert \u00e0 guichets ferm\u00e9s \u00e0 la Sala Rossa au printemps 2025, entour\u00e9\u00b7es d\u2019ami\u00b7es artistes. Dans l\u2019univers de oui merci, tout commence par l\u2019amiti\u00e9 \u2014 et chaque chanson est une main tendue vers les autres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Born out of real friendship\u2014and maybe a shared beer or two\u2014oui merci came together in 2019 when Mathilde Joncas, Ludovic Leblond, Laurent Massie, Marc-Antoine Lavall\u00e9e, and Gabriel Couture decided to craft music that\u2019s as intricate as it is impulsive. Drawing inspiration from Dirty Projectors, Animal Collective, and Feist, the band delivers a French indie-rock sound that blends precise arrangements with joyful chaos\u2014an emotional whirlwind rooted in honesty. After a standout performance at 2021\u2019s Francouvertes, the band released their debut EP chaque chose, followed by their critically acclaimed first album ok bebye in 2023. The record oscillates between tender reflections and bursts of pure energy\u2014songs about friendship, loss, joy, and everything in between. Their heartfelt live shows took them across Quebec, gracing major festivals like La Noce, Santa Teresa, FEQ, Petite-Vall\u00e9e, and FRIMAT, where they opened for Karkwa. In 2024, the single B\u00e9b\u00e9 and two live sessions at Madame Wood extended their sonic universe. A sold-out headline show at Sala Rossa in March 2025\u2014with a lineup of friends and collaborators\u2014affirmed their growing place in the francophone music scene.
