Crasher (20h)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

CRASHER est un nouveau trio de punk \u00e9lectronique men\u00e9 par Airick Asher Woodhead (Doldrums \/ Errhead). CRASHER s’est form\u00e9 pendant la COVID-19, alors qu’il se confinait dans un local de pratique partag\u00e9, et a enregistr\u00e9 la cassette \u00ab STREET CLEANING MACHINES OF THE WORLD \u00bb, sortie au printemps 2021. Ils l’ont interpr\u00e9t\u00e9 en direct lors de la s\u00e9rie de raves en plein air OXYGEN \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al \u00e0 l’\u00e9t\u00e9 2021. La musique de CRASHER s’int\u00e8gre parfaitement aux groupes de wave des ann\u00e9es 80 et aux labels de r\u00e9\u00e9dition comme Dark Entries et Minimal Wave. Les paroles caustiques et le chant m\u00e9lodique d’Asher unissent les sonorit\u00e9s vari\u00e9es du groupe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CRASHER are a new 3 piece electronic punk band fronted by Airick Asher Woodhead (Doldrums \/ Errhead). CRASHER formed during COVID while \u2018bubbling\u2019 in a shared jam space, and recorded the tape \u2018STREET CLEANING MACHINES OF THE WORLD\u2019 which released in spring 2021. They performed it live at Montreal\u2019s OXYGEN outdoor rave event series in summer 2021. CRASHER\u2019s music would be at home next to wave bands of the 80\u2019s and reissue labels like Dark Entries and Minimal Wave. Asher\u2019s caustic lyrics and melodic singing style bind the varied sounds of the band together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

UTO (21h)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

La nouvelle signature Infin\u00e9 s\u2019appelle UTO, du nom d\u2019un chien qu\u2019Emile et Neysa ont suivi dans un bois, \u00e0 l\u2019automne 2016, avant de s\u2019y perdre. Pop de la nuit et trip-hop du jour, UTO manie aussi bien les codes de l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 que ceux de l\u2019exp\u00e9rimentation, un m\u00e9lange aussi insolite que savoureux dans le paysage musical fran\u00e7ais actuel. Fusionnels, ils habitent, \u00e9crivent, composent, enregistrent, produisent et mixent leur musique dans leur studio du 45 situ\u00e9 au fond d\u2019un bois. Leur style m\u00e9lange leur amour pour la folk anglo-saxonne des ann\u00e9es 70 ainsi que pour la musique \u00e9lectronique d\u2019aujourd\u2019hui, en passant par la sc\u00e8ne anglaise de Bristol des ann\u00e9es 90. Portishead, Broadcast, Bjork, Kim Gordon ou plus r\u00e9cemment Adrianne Lenker et Eartheater sont autant d\u2019artistes qui pourraient mieux d\u00e9finir qu\u2019un genre les couleurs si singuli\u00e8res de la musique de UTO. Depuis leur premier morceau \u201cThe Beast\u201d \u00e0 plus d\u2019un million d\u2019\u00e9coutes, UTO a sorti 2 EP chez Pain Surprises Shelter for the broken (2017) et The night\u2019s due (2019) et s\u2019appr\u00eate \u00e0 taper fort avec leur premier album Touch the Lock, dont les premiers singles seront r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9s d\u00e8s f\u00e9vrier 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new Infin\u00e9 signature is called UTO, named after a dog that Emile and Neysa followed into a wood in autumn 2016, before getting lost in it. Pop by night and trip-hop by day, UTO wields both the codes of efficiency and those of experimentation, a mix as unusual as it is delicious in the current French musical landscape. They live, write, compose, record, produce and mix their music in their studio in Le 45, deep in a wood. Their style blends their love of the Anglo-Saxon folk of the 70s with the electronic music of today, via the Bristol scene of the 90s. Portishead, Broadcast, Bjork, Kim Gordon and, more recently, Adrianne Lenker and Eartheater are all artists who could better define the singular colours of UTO’s music. Since their debut track \u2018The Beast\u2019 received over a million listens, UTO have released 2 EPs on Pain Surprises Shelter for the broken (2017) and The night’s due (2019) and are about to hit it big with their debut album Touch the Lock, the first singles of which will be revealed in February 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bibi Club (22h)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Avec Feu de garde, le duo Ad\u00e8le Trottier-Rivard et Nicolas Basque signe un album incandescent, o\u00f9 la chaleur humaine prend le pas sur les ravages. Nourrie par une \u00e9nergie collective et bienveillante, leur musique r\u00e9chauffe, \u00e9claire et r\u00e9conforte comme un feu entretenu au c\u0153ur d\u2019un hiver rude. Inspir\u00e9e par l\u2019exp\u00e9rience d\u2019Ad\u00e8le chez les scouts \u2014 courage, sororit\u00e9, nature, entraide \u2014 l\u2019\u0153uvre puise dans ces rituels et liens profonds pour b\u00e2tir un univers \u00e0 la fois intime et universel. Entre vertige, myst\u00e8re et transformation, l\u2019album \u00e9voque Moondog, Stereolab ou Suicide, tout en affirmant une signature audacieuse et frontale. Rythmes enlev\u00e9s, chants de groupe et percussions habit\u00e9es propulsent une musique \u00e0 la fois brute, minimaliste et vibrante. Feu de garde est un appel \u00e0 la communaut\u00e9, \u00e0 la r\u00e9sistance joyeuse, au mouvement des corps et des esprits. La rencontre d\u00e9cisive avec le r\u00e9alisateur Ali Chant (Dry Cleaning, PJ Harvey, Aldous Harding) marque un tournant et aligne les influences du duo avec une production directe, sans artifice.
