Apparu \u00e0 la fin des ann\u00e9es 90 avec son premier album, Wisconsin Death Trip (1998), devenu culte, le groupe s\u2019est rapidement impos\u00e9 sur la sc\u00e8ne metal, port\u00e9 par l\u2019image marquante de son frontman Wayne Static, reconnaissable \u00e0 sa coiffure distinctive et \u00e0 son style vocal unique. Apr\u00e8s avoir poursuivi sur sa lanc\u00e9e dans les ann\u00e9es 2000 avec des albums comme Machine et Shadow Zone, le groupe s\u2019est retrouv\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019arr\u00eat apr\u00e8s le d\u00e9c\u00e8s de Static en 2014. Toutefois, au tournant de la d\u00e9cennie, la formation originale a fait un retour en force en utilisant des enregistrements vocaux et des compositions in\u00e9dites de Static, publiant Project Regeneration, Vol. 1 en 2020, suivi de Vol. 2 en 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While maintaining momentum into the 2000s with additional efforts like Machine and Shadow Zone, Static’s passing in 2014 effectively halted the group in their tracks.
