Imagin\u00e9 par le duo Sawtooth (Sarah Albu et Matti Pulkki) et le compositeur et performeur Charles Quevillon, ce techno-op\u00e9ra pour soprano, accord\u00e9on, marionnettiste, \u00e9lectronique et haut-parleur Genelec, \u00e9tablit un parall\u00e8le entre le cadre consum\u00e9riste du haut-parleur et son symbolisme religieux et spirituel. Le premier acte s\u2019inspire notamment du ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne de unboxing sur YouTube, qui s&#8217;apparente \u00e0 un rituel moderne de bapt\u00eame des objets technologiques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A techno-opera that explores our relationship with technology, through a hybrid performance combining music, theater and visual arts.<br>Loudspeaker Baptism is a profound reflection on the place of this technological object in human cosmology, inviting us to consider its role beyond simple utilitarianism. Conceived by the Sawtooth duo (Sarah Albu and Matti Pulkki) and the composer\/performer Charles Quevillon, this techno-opera for soprano, accordion, puppeteer, electronics and Genelec loudspeaker draws a parallel between the loudspeaker&#8217;s capitalist, technological framework and its religious and spiritual symbolism.
