Les cinq entit\u00e9s autrefois \u00e9parses et maintenant intrins\u00e8ques proposent aussi tout un arsenal D.I.Y.: vid\u00e9oclips, visuels, <em>screenprints<\/em>, <em>moves<\/em> de danse brevet\u00e9s, etcetera! Le band nous partage un premier extrait \u00e0 para\u00eetre via l\u2019\u00e9tiquette britannique Bella Union. Dansante, turbulente et invitante, la pi\u00e8ce \u201cDetour\u201d (22 octobre 2024) est aussi disponible de l\u2019autre c\u00f4t\u00e9 de l\u2019Atlantique via l\u2019\u00e9tiquette boutique Mothland (CA\/US).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La S\u00e9curit\u00e9 (Montr\u00e9al\/Tiohti\u00e0:ke) is a collective whose art punk is equal parts: jumpy beats, off-kilter arrangements and minimalistic melodic hooks. These five scattered, yet creatively concerted entities also propose a wide arsenal of D.I.Y. music videos, visuals, screenprints, patented dance moves, etcetera! The band teases us with a first single via British imprint Bella Union, dancy-topsy-curvy \u201cDetour\u201d (October 22nd, 2024), also available on the other side of the pond via boutique label Mothland (CA\/US).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Chandra<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">N\u00e9e dans la sc\u00e8ne artistique underground de New York des ann\u00e9es 70 et 80, Chandra Oppenheim a grandi rapidement, menant le groupe de new wave\/mutant disco CHANDRA et sortant l&#8217;album devenu culte Transportation \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e2ge de onze ans. Trois r\u00e9\u00e9ditions plus tard (y compris le Deluxe EP de 2018 de Telephone Explosion), le groupe CHANDRA revitalis\u00e9 r\u00e9interpr\u00e8te les morceaux intemporels de cet album d&#8217;enfance, en tournant \u00e0 travers le Canada, les \u00c9tats-Unis et en 2019, en jouant au Primavera Sound de Barcelone. Les membres actuels incluent Julie Reich (Bile Sister, Body Breaks), Victoria Cheong (New Chance), le producteur\/compositeur Nyles Miszczyk (MISZCZYK), Colin White (By Divine Right, Hyness), Marcus Wanka (Hyness), Heloise George (Bile Sister), Kristina Koski (Blonde Elvis) et Lee Rose (Ace of Wands).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Born into the underground art scene of 70s and 80s New York City, Chandra Oppenheim, grew up fast, fronting new wave\/mutant disco act CHANDRA and releasing the now-cult-classic album Transportation by age eleven. Three reissues later (including Telephone Explosion&#8217;s 2018 Deluxe EP&#8217;s), the recharged CHANDRA band has been reinterpreting Transportation\u2019s timeless childhood material, touring across Canada, the US and in 2019 playing Barcelona&#8217;s Primavera Sound.
