Depuis les ann\u00e9es 1970, la voix dynamique et irr\u00e9sistible de Phew, ainsi que son engagement en faveur d\u2019une exp\u00e9rimentation sans entrave, ont contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 d\u00e9finir les sonorit\u00e9s de la musique d\u2019avant-garde, tant au Japon qu\u2019\u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tranger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Phew, otherwise known as Hiromi Mortani, is a musician based in Kanagawa, Japan. While fronting Aunt Sally, one of Osaka\u2019s earliest punk groups, Phew played a critical role in developing Japan\u2019s underground music scene. Phew\u2019s oeuvre spans a vast array of experimental sounds: from no-wavey synth-hymns; to poppy, shoegazing, industrial undertones; to eerie incandescent drones.
