Babyteeth est un groupe d\u2019alternatif\u00b7dreampop\u00b7shoegaze bas\u00e9 \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al. Inspir\u00e9 par des artistes comme Slowdive, Mazzy Star, Hole et Deftones, Babyteeth m\u00e9lange des guitares m\u00e9lancoliques, des synth\u00e9tiseurs envo\u00fbtants et des voix vuln\u00e9rables pour cr\u00e9er un son unique. Le groupe est men\u00e9 par la chanteuse et artiste visuelle Pixie Blood. Connue pour sa mani\u00e8re de combiner le beau et le grotesque dans ses sculptures, elle transpose un esprit similaire \u00e0 son travail dans Babyteeth, situant des paroles sombres dans des paysages sonores apaisants. Z\u00e9a Calla bricole une pop \u00e9lectronique, libre et audacieuse. Privil\u00e9giant l\u2019impr\u00e9visibilit\u00e9 de l\u2019exploration, elle jongle avec une palette d\u2019instruments \u00e9lectroniques, notamment son fid\u00e8le compagnon, le th\u00e9r\u00e9mine. Po\u00e8te, sorci\u00e8re, s\u00e9mioticienne et fan d\u2019horreur, ses sonorit\u00e9s d\u00e9complex\u00e9es s\u2019harmonisent avec ses textes minutieusement \u00e9labor\u00e9s, doucement provocants et jamais compl\u00e8tement s\u00e9rieux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Z\u00e9a Calla creates electronic pop, free and daring. Favoring the unpredictability of exploration, she juggles with a range of electronic instruments, notably her faithful companion, the theremin. Poet, witch, semiotician and horror fan, her uninhibited sounds harmonize with her carefully crafted lyrics, gently provocative and never completely serious.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chaia<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chaia est un trio \u00e9lectro-pop bas\u00e9 \u00e0 New York comprenant du violon \u00e9lectrique, un sampler \u00e9lectronique et des harmonies vocales spatiales. Chaia interpr\u00e8te des chansons originales en utilisant des samples de musique folklorique juive (yiddish) d\u2019Europe de l\u2019Est, avec des grooves emprunt\u00e9s \u00e0 la house et au jazz. Le premier album de Chaia, Yibaneh, sortira en decembre 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chaia is a three-piece electro-pop group based in New York City featuring electric fiddle, electronic sampler, and spacey vocal harmonies. Chaia performs original songs using samples from Eastern European Jewish (Yiddish) folk music, with grooves borrowed from house and jazz. Chaia\u2019s debut album, Yibaneh, will be released May of 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
