Apr\u00e8s leur dissolution, elle a form\u00e9 le projet dark-folk Marontate, connu pour ses voix envo\u00fbtantes, sa guitare abrasive et ses performances hypnotiques. MacLeod est \u00e9galement artiste visuelle, cin\u00e9aste et fi\u00e8re maman de quatre cochons d&#8217;Inde !<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Musician and multidisciplinary artist Annie Wren MacLeod, born in 2001, grew up in Victoria, British Columbia. She moved to Montreal in 2019 to study film at Concordia University, bursting onto the local music scene as the electrifying frontwoman of post-punk trio Piss For Pumpkin. After their dissolution, she formed the dark-folk project Marontate, known for its haunting vocals, abrasive guitar and hypnotic performances. Don&#8217;t miss Marontate&#8217;s captivating live shows and \u201cHold Fast\u201d album, released on June 14, 2024.
