Ce qui devait \u00eatre un hommage aux Hot Snakes est devenu s\u00e9rieux avec l&#8217;arriv\u00e9e de Gabrielle Oltra. L&#8217;ajout du bassiste Patrick \u00ab Patch \u00bb Chagnon les m\u00e8ne aux Studios de Rouen. Malgr\u00e9 la pand\u00e9mie, ils enregistrent leur premier album, m\u00ealant humour cynique et riffs inventifs. Chou de Chou est lanc\u00e9 en mai 2022, avec des collaborations notables. Le groupe encha\u00eene avec des concerts, dont une premi\u00e8re partie m\u00e9morable aux Francos de Montr\u00e9al. Actuellement en pr\u00e9paration d&#8217;un nouvel album, ils promettent un automne charg\u00e9 de spectacles \u00e0 travers la province !<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2018, Bruno Bouchard and Charles Laplante met in a garage after the end of their respective projects. What was meant to be a Hot Snakes tribute turned serious with the arrival of Gabrielle Oltra. The addition of bassist Patrick \u201cPatch\u201d Chagnon brought them to Studios de Rouen. Despite the pandemic, they record their first album, blending cynical humor and inventive riffs. Chou de Chou was released in May 2022, with some notable collaborations. The band followed this up with a series of concerts, including a memorable opening slot at Les Francos de Montr\u00e9al. Currently working on a new album, they promise a busy autumn of shows across the province!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Lemongrab (01h)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lemongrab s&#8217;est form\u00e9 pendant une temp\u00eate de neige \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al en 2018 par les membres originaux L\u00e9onie Dishaw, Ga\u00eblle Cordeau et Marilou Turgeon, qui ressentaient un manque d&#8217;honn\u00eatet\u00e9 et de passion dans leur sc\u00e8ne. Elles ont d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de combler ce vide et d&#8217;apprendre par elles-m\u00eames \u00e0 faire de la musique. Depuis que le duo DIY Ga\u00eblle &amp; L\u00e9onie a d\u00e9m\u00e9nag\u00e9 \u00e0 Berlin en 2019, le groupe a form\u00e9 une nouvelle configuration qui a rapidement laiss\u00e9 une impression durable dans la sc\u00e8ne punk de Berlin et de l&#8217;Europe en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral. R\u00e9put\u00e9 pour leurs spectacles live bruts et cathartiques et leur \u00e9criture lourde mais ludique. Leurs influences vont des Stooges \u00e0 The Clean, en passant par les hooks pop bizarres de Devo et en resurfacent sur un territoire familier de Bikini Kill.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lemongrab was formed during a snowstorm in Montreal in 2018 by original members L\u00e9onie Dishaw, Ga\u00eblle Cordeau and Marilou Turgeon, who felt a lack of honesty and passion in their scene. They decided to fill that void and learn to make music on their own. Since DIY duo Ga\u00eblle &amp; L\u00e9onie moved to Berlin in 2019, the band has formed a new configuration that has quickly left a lasting impression on the Berlin and wider European punk scene. Renowned for their raw, cathartic live shows and heavy but playful songwriting.
