Mossa\u00ef Mossa\u00ef (20h)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apr\u00e8s un premier EP en 2019, tr\u00e8s affirm\u00e9 dans une esth\u00e9tique psych\u00e9d\u00e9lique, Jean-Loup, Marie, Tanguy et Phil\u00e9mon, les quatres membres de Mossa\u00ef Mossa\u00ef, ont pris le temps de donner naissance \u00e0 ce \u00ab Faces \u00bb. Le temps de voir s\u2019agrandir les marges de leur musique, notamment sur sc\u00e8ne o\u00f9 le groupe a vite fait parler de lui par ses performances. Puis d\u2019enregistrer, dans le studio troglodytique de Pierre Lambla \u00e0 Thor\u00e9-la-Rochette, en compagnie du r\u00e9alisateur Baptiste M\u00e9sange (Jim Ballon, Rank-O, Electric Vocuhila\u2026).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After a first EP in 2019, very much asserted in a psychedelic aesthetic, Jean-Loup, Marie, Tanguy and Phil\u00e9mon, the four members of Mossa\u00ef Mossa\u00ef, took the time to give birth to this \u201cFaces\u201d. Time to see the margins of their music grow, particularly on stage where the group quickly made a name for itself with its performances. Then to record, in Pierre Lambla’s troglodytic studio in Thor\u00e9-la-Rochette, in the company of producer Baptiste M\u00e9sange (Jim Ballon, Rank-O, Electric Vocuhila\u2026).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alix Fernz (21h)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rugueuse, contrast\u00e9e et labyrinthique, la musique d\u2019Alix Fernz (anciennement connu en tant que Blood Skin Atopic) s\u2019engage dans l\u2019enclave scal\u00e8ne du post-punk tout en flirtant avec la pop hypnagogique, cr\u00e9ant un hybride lo-fi entre synthwave et rock alternatif. Chantant la vie de bar, les troubles psychosociaux, la drogue, l\u2019addiction et la peur, et s\u2019inspirant des talons hauts, du rouge \u00e0 l\u00e8vres, du travestissement, de la mode et des bibittes, l\u2019auteur-compositeur et interpr\u00e8te nous pr\u00e9sente aux pieds de ses vers masqu\u00e9s d\u2019effets un certain coming-of-age \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e8re cybern\u00e9tique. Le montr\u00e9alais nous pr\u00e9sente Bizou, un premier opus sous sa nouvelle griffe, le 19 avril 2024 via Mothland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rough, contrasting and labyrinthine, the music of Alix Fernz (formerly known as Blood Skin Atopic) engages with the scalene enclave of post-punk while flirting with hypnagogic pop, creating a lo-fi hybrid between synthwave and alternative rock. Singing about bar life, psychosocial disorders, drugs, addiction and fear, and drawing inspiration from high heels, lipstick, cross-dressing, fashion and baubles, the singer-songwriter presents us at the feet of his effect-masked verses with a certain coming-of-age in the cyber age. The Montrealer presents Bizou, his first opus under his new label, on April 19, 2024 via Mothland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Galaxie s\u00e9vit dans la distorsion depuis le jour J, sous la direction cr\u00e9ative d\u2019un seul homme, Olivier Langevin. B\u00eates de nuit par d\u00e9finition, le rockeur et ses complices prennent les sc\u00e8nes de la francophonie d\u2019assaut, \u00e9claboussant tout sur leur passage et laissant public et critique KO devant la d\u00e9charge et l\u2019\u00e9nergie brutale, voire carr\u00e9ment animale, de leurs performances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Galaxie has been raging with distortion since D-Day, under the creative direction of one man, Olivier Langevin. Night owls by definition, the rocker and his accomplices take the stages of the French-speaking world by storm, splattering everything in their path and leaving audiences and critics alike knocked out by the brutal, even downright animal energy of their performances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
