Sur le disque, il interpr\u00e8te lui-m\u00eame les quatre parties de guitare de ses compositions riches et rigoureuses. Pour pr\u00e9senter ce mat\u00e9riel sur sc\u00e8ne, ORCUTT a recrut\u00e9 trois guitaristes de haut niveau et compl\u00e9mentaires de surcro\u00eet\u00a0: WENDY EISENBERG, AVA MENDOZA et SHANE PARISH. Chacun, avec sa personnalit\u00e9 musicale et son vocabulaire d\u2019improvisation, \u00e9largit \u00e0 sa fa\u00e7on la palette de cette musique interpr\u00e9t\u00e9e avec une intensit\u00e9 et un volume stup\u00e9fiants. \u00ab\u2009Un quatuor tr\u00e8s structur\u00e9 qui tisse serr\u00e9 de minuscules phrases rythmiques en vastes paysages, en s\u2019inspirant des pr\u00e9ceptes du minimalisme des premi\u00e8res heures et de groupes guitaristiques new-yorkais comme le Glenn Branca Ensemble\u2009\u00bb (<em>Pitchfork<\/em>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2022, San Francisco composer-guitarist BILL ORCUTT released the exceptional Music for Four Guitars (Palilalia Records), a synthesis of his main musical investigations, a work of repetitions and permutations realized with the maximalist impact of a visceral guitar sound. On the disc, he himself performs the four guitar parts of his rich, rigorous compositions. To bring this material to the stage, ORCUTT has recruited three top-flight guitarists who complement each other perfectly: WENDY EISENBERG, AVA MENDOZA and SHANE PARISH.
