C\u2019est mon monde.\u2009\u00bb C\u2019est par ces mots que FREY parle de son \u00ab\u00a0String Quartet No.\u00a04\u00a0\u00bb (Quatuor \u00e0 cordes no\u00a04), fra\u00eechement paru sur disque en janvier 2024 chez Collection QB et du troisi\u00e8me quatuor compos\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019intention du QUATUOR BOZZINI, pour souligner plus de vingt ans de collaboration et de confiance mutuelle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Swiss composer J\u00dcRG FREY writes masterful soundscapes, calm and vast, and the exceptional QUATUOR BOZZINI knows how to bring them to life. With his sensitive ear for color, sound and precision, FREY composes music of great serenity and lyricism; a poetic weightlessness, in search of silence in sound. &#8220;My music is slow, sometimes static, and often oscillates delicately between immobility and movement. And yet, after more than an hour, this music has come to a different place. At a standstill, nothing much happens &#8211; it&#8217;s from this atmosphere that my music emerges and to which it always returns. Sometimes it stays there.
