Next, Sutra takes you on a journey to India, with sound recordings of its major cities blending with the sound of the horn. Two other pieces complete the program: Stele IV pays spatial tribute to German director J\u00fcrgen Gosch, and Exercices in Estrangement II &#8220;L&#8217;Animal que donc je suis&#8221; highlights the relationship between humans and nature. With this recital, Gabriel Trottier and Sandeep Bhagwati highlight the horn in a contemporary context, while perpetuating the intrinsic link between nature and this instrument whose ancestors include the conch shell, the olifant and the hunting horn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-small-font-size\">Le corniste montr\u00e9alais Gabriel Trottier pr\u00e9sente un r\u00e9cital pour cor et \u00e9lectronique inspir\u00e9 par la nature et l\u2019\u00eatre humain autour d\u2019arrangements, adaptations et comprovisations d\u2019\u0153uvres de Sandeep Bhagwati.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dans ce concert, le musicien virtuose partage quelques-unes des inspirations communes avec le compositeur, notamment leurs int\u00e9r\u00eats pour l\u2019interdisciplinarit\u00e9 (multim\u00e9dia, po\u00e9sie), l\u2019innovation et l\u2019improvisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L\u2019\u0153uvre&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/smcq.qc.ca\/smcq\/fr\/oeuvre\/51385\/archipelago\">Archipelago<\/a>&nbsp;vous emportera d\u2019abord dans l\u2019univers sonore du Vieux-Port de Qu\u00e9bec, voguant au son des vagues et des activit\u00e9s portuaires, avec en filigrane un extrait du po\u00e8me Nipinapunan de l\u2019\u00e9crivain autochtone Alexis Vollant.
