Des hydrophones, des g\u00e9ophones et des capteurs \u00e9lectromagn\u00e9tiques sont utilis\u00e9s pour capter les bruits r\u00e9siduels de l&#8217;eau, des objets et de l&#8217;air &#8211; tels que le bourdonnement des champs \u00e9lectromagn\u00e9tiques et le p\u00e9tillement des bulles &#8211; brouillant et d\u00e9formant le continuum des sons d&#8217;avant-plan et d&#8217;arri\u00e8re-plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On February 4 at La Sala Rossa, we are proud to present the world premiere of &#8216;what came before me is going after me&#8217; by Tiohti\u00e0:ke\/Montreal-based Malaysian composer Zihua Tan, for amplified quintet featuring Sarah Albu (voice), Genevi\u00e8ve Liboiron (violin), Audr\u00e9anne Filion (cello), Daniel \u00c1\u00f1ez (ondes Martenot), and Noam Bierstone (percussion), with Gabriel Dufour Laperri\u00e8re on sound. &#8216;what came before me is going after me&#8217; revels in the sonic possibilities of extended performance techniques and interactions coupled with unconventional microphones.
