Under the baton of Elim Chan, one of the most remarkable conductors of the new generation, tales with such distinct colours intermingle, to the obvious delight of musicians and audience alike. It may be the middle of the night, but This Midnight Hour by Britain&#8217;s Anna Clyne pays no heed to the neighbours. Immersive, she plunges us into a night of mad running and melancholy. Percussionist Dominique Vleeshouwers delivers the astonishing Speaking Drums by Hungary&#8217;s Peter E\u00f6tv\u00f6s, in which the soloist literally talks to his snare drums, bells and other instruments, with contagious joy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fruit des voyages en mer de Rimski-Korsakov autant que de sa capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 faire sonner un orchestre exactement comme il le souhaite,\u00a0<em>Sh\u00e9h\u00e9razade<\/em>\u00a0est aussi envo\u00fbtante que les histoires de la courtisane des\u00a0<em>Mille et une nuits.<\/em>\u00a0Sous la baguette d\u2019Elim Chan, l\u2019une des cheffes les plus remarquables de la nouvelle g\u00e9n\u00e9ration, les contes aux couleurs pourtant si distinctes s\u2019entrem\u00ealent, pour le plaisir \u00e9vident des musiciens et du public. C\u2019est peut-\u00eatre le milieu de la nuit, mais\u00a0<em class=\"custom-cursor-on-hover\">This Midnight Hour<\/em>\u00a0de la Britannique Anna Clyne ne fait pas attention aux voisins. Immersive, elle nous plonge dans une nuit de course folle puis de m\u00e9lancolie.
