Apr\u00e8s avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 rep\u00e9r\u00e9 par nul autre que King Sunny Ade, il a tourn\u00e9 de nombreuses ann\u00e9es avec Egypt 80, le groupe de Fela Kuti, et collabor\u00e9 avec Lauryn Hill. H\u00e9ritier de la culture pop des ann\u00e9es 60-70, Kaleta &amp; Super Yamba Band propose un son touffu, aux accents psych\u00e9d\u00e9liques, en \u00e9quilibre entre Afrobeat, Juju, Soul et Funk, port\u00e9 par une instrumentation dense compos\u00e9e de guitares, basse, batterie, claviers, cuivres et percussions diverses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Although he has lived in New York since 2017, where he joined up with Super Yamba Band, the Beninese singer\/guitarist Leon Ligan-Majek, AKA Kaleta, has followed an impressive career path. After being discovered by none other than King Sunny Ad\u00e9, he toured several years with Fela Kuti\u2019s band, Egypt 80, and later collaborated with the likes of Lauryn Hill.
