Alex McMahon, creator of the soundtrack for the TV series Expat, currently airing on TVA, unboxes his third single, “Qalbi Dialna (Mon coeur à nous)”. It follows “Par là-bas” and “Why You Gotta”, both released in July. This time round, the Montreal musician uses a more electro approach. Moroccan-Quebecois singer La Bronze accompanies him for the song, which highlights her sumptuous Arabic vocals. Wilderness and urban crush, empty and overflowing, dry and wet, natural and concrete: the images from the series offer a series of striking contrasts.
In the fall of 2020, Alex McMahon presents the results of his various collaborations, as well as instrumental pieces, on his solo album Expat Vol. 1. Let’s get on board!
